Pastor Tim Walker

Tim Walker, Senior Pastor

Pastor Tim Walker grew up in McAlester, OK. He was saved and baptized at FBC McAlester. He met Kathy Talbot in high school and they were married in 1974. Tim graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University and earned two degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. The Walkers have 5 children and 6 grandchildren. Tim enjoys sports, golf, fly-fishing, hiking, and is a big fan of college and NFL football. He is always ready for a good book and good conversation.
Bobby Roe

Rev. Bobby Roe, Senior Adult Minister

Bobby Roe was born in Azle, Texas in 1934. Bobby was saved in 1947, and licensed to preach in 1951 by Turner Memorial Baptist Church in Fort Worth, TX. He and his wife Glenda married in 1954 and have three children and four grandchildren. Bobby has degrees from Decatur Baptist College, Hardin-Simmons University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and International Bible Institute and Seminary in Orlando. Bobby pastored churches in Texas, Ohio, and Oklahoma from 1959 to 2004. Bobby joined the staff here at FBC Stillwater in 2005 as the Senior Adult Minister.

Tyler Baggett, Young Adult Minister

Tyler was born and raised outside of Clarksville, Tennessee and came to know the Lord at the age of 15. Shortly after, he began to feel the call to full-time vocational ministry. He and his wife aLanna were married in 2013 and moved to Oklahoma shortly afterwards. Tyler received a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Tennessee at Martin, and is currently working on his Masters of Divinity through Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife have one son, and live together in Stillwater. Tyler enjoys studying theology, hunting, and Tennessee football.
Carol Green
Carol Green, Children’s Minister
Carol has served on a church staff most of her adult life beginning in 1984 as the Preschool Director for First Baptist Church in her home town of  El Paso, TX.  This was followed by a number of positions in educational development and spiritual formation for children, teens and adults in a number of churches across Texas. Carol earned  a B.A. in Christian Studies with a specialization in Theology at Howard Payne University and a Master’s degree from George W. Truett Seminary at Baylor University.  If Carol had her way she would continue to be a student for the rest of her life– studying, researching and writing, especially in the field of spiritual formation and church ministry development, it is just plain fun!
Brant Adams
Brant Adams, Music Minister
Brant is originally from Gallipolis, Ohio, and holds a Bachelor of Music in piano performance from Capital University, a Masters of Music in music theory from the University of Cincinnati, and a Ph.D in music theory from The University of Texas at Austin. Brant has been a member of the music faculty at Oklahoma State University since 1987.  He is a widely published composer, and is well-known as an arranger and orchestrator, especially in sacred music publications.  Brant has served on staff at First Baptist Church since 1989.  He and his wife Ginger were married in 1981 and have three lovely daughters pursuing careers in other states.
